Audrey and J.A.'s relationship wasn't a perfect fairytale, like they would have liked it to be. Despite knowing they were soulmates, the young lovers weren't actually together when they concieved their first child. Audrey was with another. With another prince, to be precise, one Maks Rasponti. She and J.A. had been broken up for a while, due to his parents threat on her life if he continued to see the mermaid, who was thought to only be a common mermaid, with nothing to offer the crown prince of the vampire court, other then her pretty face.

As fate would have it, it was during an attack on Mystic Veil by radicals against supernaturals, that J.A. was injured protecting Audrey. It wasn't a very serious injury, one that would easily heal once the vampire had fed. Audrey insisted he drink from her, as it would heal him better and faster then any of the donated blood, and it was the least she could do for him, after he saved her life. Despite dating for years before this, never once had J.A. drank from Audrey or had siren blood. They weren't really aware of fact that Audrey was a siren and that her blood would be an aphrodesiac. Things turned hot and heavy rather quickly as the act of giving blood was as erotic for Audrey as it was for J.A. to take it. They ended up having passionate sex in their hiding place, concieving their first child, unbeknownst to them.

Unaware of the new life they had created out of their passion, Audrey went back to Maks, to tell him the truth, fully expecting him to break up with her for her unfaithfulness. And even if he had, she wasn't going back to J.A. as they still wouldn't be able to be together, and she did love Maks, even if he wasn't her soulmate. But Maks surprised her, although he was hurt, he told her he loved her and they would work through it. However about a month later she realized she was preganant. Unbeknowst to Audrey, her 'mother' had replaced her birth control charm with a fertility charm, to get the siren pregnant with the nixen prince's child. And it worked. Just not quite how it was planned. Audrey freaked out, realizing she was pregnant and didn't know who the father was. When she went the doctor, it was discovered she was pregnant with two babies. When she told both boys, it triggered something in J.A. and he finally did something about the situation they were in. He abdicated his crown, naming his brother the new crown prince and began trying to win back his soulmate. Audrey was still hesitant.

: Isley has taken completely after her mother's witch side, with absolutely nothing from her father, except an acute allergery to silver. She has strong spell powers and her ley-line magic is is some of the most powerful ever seen. She has somehow managed to have an affinity for demons, she tends to attract them and be attracted to them. She has even managed to somehow accidently BIND a demon as her familiar, much as a witch would with a shifter.
