Chandler was only 14 years old when he found out he was going to be a father. He hadn't exactly been dating his child's mother but they had been regular hook up buddies. Anita Backer, Carver's mother, was older than Chandler. She was 16. The reactions for either family were not pretty. Chandler did his best to be around when Carver was born. When his son was 4, Antia moved with to the other side of the country for a good job. Chandler made sure to be in touch and was the best long distance father he could be. A year ago, Anita was diagnoised with breast cancer. In the months preceeding her death arrangements were made for Carver to move to his father.
